This notice explains the information used by the Beginner Bookkeeping Practice Simulator.

Information we use

• Your email address, used for your account and account-recovery messages
• A securely hashed version of your password; the service does not store your readable password
• Your practice entries, attempts, corrections, completion status, and progress
• Basic technical information recorded by the hosting service, such as request time and network information

Why we use it

We use this information to operate your account, save your learning progress, protect the service, and help you recover access.

Service providers

Hosting is provided through Bluehost. Account verification and recovery messages are sent through our n8n workflow and Google Gmail. These services process the recipient email address and message, including a verification or recovery link when needed to deliver it.

Cookies

The simulator uses an essential sign-in cookie to keep your account session active. It is required for account features. Browser storage also holds practice preferences and working data. Recorded progress is saved to your account on the server.

Advertising

The simulator does not currently display advertising or use advertising or analytics scripts. If Google advertising is enabled later, vendors including Google may use cookies based on previous visits to this or other sites. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to personalize ads. You can manage personalized advertising at Google My Ad Center and read Google’s partner-sites information. Relevant consent choices and updated provider details will be added before those tools are enabled.

Retention and choices

Account information and saved practice are retained while the account is active or as reasonably needed to operate and protect the service. Email bookkeeping.saysayph@gmail.com to request help with access, correction, or deletion of your account information. We may need to verify account ownership.

We may update this notice as the service changes. The date above will show the latest revision.
